ADAPTIVE
CLASSES

*NOTE: This is not an occupational therapy service or medical treatment. It is an adaptive movement program informed by pediatric motor development and sensory-supportive best practices.
Our Adaptive Motor Skills Program is a small-group, gymnastics-based movement class designed for young children who benefit from additional support with balance, coordination, body awareness, sensory regulation, and gross motor development. The program is created for children with sensory processing differences, developmental delays, ADHD, autism, Down syndrome, developmental coordination challenges, or those currently receiving—or waiting to receive—occupational therapy services, this program provides a structured, supportive environment where every child can build confidence through movement.
Unlike traditional gymnastics classes, our program emphasizes foundational motor development over gymnastics skills. Each class incorporates carefully planned obstacle courses, balance activities, climbing, crawling, hanging, rolling, jumping, and strength-building exercises using gymnastics equipment in a developmentally appropriate way. Classes are intentionally designed with predictable routines, small class sizes, visual supports, and sensory-informed coaching strategies to help children feel safe, engaged, and successful. Activities progress gradually throughout our 12-week curriculum while allowing every child to participate at their own pace.
Children will develop:
• Gross motor coordination
• Balance and postural control
• Core strength and stability
• Bilateral coordination
• Motor planning (praxis)
• Body awareness
• Confidence and independence
• Attention and listening skills
• Social participation
• Emotional self-regulation through movement
Founding Family Enrollment Now Open.
Our inaugural 12-week session begins August 18. Enrollment is intentionally limited to maintain small instructor-to-child ratios and provide individualized support. Families are encouraged to reserve their child’s spot before classes begin.
